OpenBadges3 and Verifiable Credentials

OpenBadges3 were developed specifically with an educational context in mind, and are mostly compatible with Verifiable credentials (VC). Verifiable credentials are a universal container developed by the W3C aiming at all kind of credentials, including learning achievements. By being format agnositic, we can better cater to the use cases and needs of learning and skill regognition, while connecting to existing and emerging technologies.
